AFTER BANK OF NEW YORK MELLON
Not only was everything stolen from every room, but much damage has been caused to the property as well, note smoke damage, and destruction of hand-made window coverings; this page is only a small sample of the decimation of the property by mendacious persons operating wrongfully under the guise of the law.
BEFORE BANK OF NEW YORK MELLON
This is the Leopold Room as seen also above, where many have enjoyed events happening over the last 40 years, Film Festival Wrap parties, weddings, workshops and intimate gatherings by locals as well as dignitaries from the world over, Australia, Ethiopia, Great Britain, France, Spain, Germany, South Africa, The Netherlands, Denmark, Norway, Mexico, Tibet, Bali, Morocco, Russia, Luxembourg, Lithuanian, Chile, Venezuela, to name a few. What has been allowed to happen here is beyond comprehension; the people involved did knowingly and wantonly destroy an icon of Taos even after being informed of higher court Orders from Federal Court as well as New Mexico Court of Appeals that had been knowingly ignored in contempt by district court judges.

BEFORE BANK OF NEW YORK MELLON
The property at Touchstone has 11,000 sq ft in improvements and is on 1.64 acres, zoned commercial in the Town of Taos, has two wells and a replenishing aquifer bordering Taos Pueblo lands and the Rio Pueblo. I purchased the property outright in 1983, and have lived there for 40 years until rudely evicted without notice on May 1, 2023. I have invested over 2.2 million of my own money without any mortgages in the property where I had lived for 13 years before there was any mortgage. The property was burned by arsonists November 22, 1992 and was rebuilt by December 1993, with 2 rooms to rent. It took me 20 years to recover from the arson and rebuild with eventually 10 rooms for rent. All involved in the theft and destruction of this property will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
